How to Mount Wind-Blox on Your Helmet

Mount opened Wind-Blox on your helmet strap around the outside of the strap.
Wrap the thin flap around the rear of the strap.
Wrap the cushioned end around the front of the strap and attach with the hook and loop closure. The cushioned side should be inside so that it contacts the face when the helmet is worn.
As you place your helmet on your head, gently slide the Wind-Blox Pro down against the Y in your staps and check that the padded side is against the cheek with the reflective portion facing outward.

Adjust the “Y-clip” up/down so that it’s directly under the ear and so that the Wind-Blox ProXL length spans the full distance between the Y-clip and the helmet shell rim.

Mount the Wind-Blox Classic on your helmet strap with the grip strips on either side of the strap and the reflective label twoard the front of your helmet.<
Wrap the Wind-Blox Classic so that the label goes to the outside and will not touch your face when the helmet is worn.

Bicycle helmet straps should be in contact with the face and be no more than one inch in front of the ear. Common problems and solutions:

Incorrect attachment: Check instructions or attachment video.
Straps too far forward: Straps should be no more than one inch in front of ears. Adjust strap lengths so that the Y-clip is directly under the ear.
Straps too far away from face: If straps mount to outside of the helmet shell the straps may be more than the ¼” maximum distance away from face and Wind-Blox may not be able to contact the face.
Residual wind noise: We recommend occasionally lifting your helmet straps away from your face to experience the difference with and without Wind-Blox. Performance may vary with wind conditions.
